Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

Requirements:

Board certification as PMHNP by ANCC, with Master or doctorate education, possess DEA and Nevada NP license.

• Perform outpatient diagnosis and treatment for clients
• Prescribe and review psychotropic medications for clients

• Complete client psychiatric evaluations • Evaluate and monitor client medications making requisite medication adjustments

• Arrange emergency treatment and/or hospitalization of clients, if necessary attend medical staff meetings as requested

• Develop individual client treatment and service plans • Timely complete all necessary records, reports and forms

• Ensure appropriate medical-psychiatric coordination is completed for clients • Attend and participate in treatment team staffing and to assist in

Medical Assistant / Administrative Assistant

Responsibilities

• Record patient's information accurately and clearly.
• Explain the psychiatrist's instructions to patient and family members in a clear way.
• Help providers with their tasks.

• Insurance and eligibility verification. • Assist with initial intake using ICANotes EHR. • Handle the daily activities of an office/clinic. • Communication with clients is done remotely only, no face to face with clients, no office visits by clients. All consultations are done by telehealth.

• Bilingual Spanish is a plus

LCSW, LMFT, and LCPC

Required Education, Skills and Experience

• Master’s degree or higher in psychology, social work, MFT, or clinical professional counseling • Active License in the State of NV as LCSW, CPC, or LMFT

• Preferably providers are linked with Nevada Medicaid • Good written and verbal communication • Strong teamwork and ethical standards

• Commitment to clients and agency policies and procedures

• Experience working with mental illness patients and providing therapy services
